Spaulding Town Forest
Present: Jim Eggers, Zack Boyajian, Bob Mann, Marianne DiTaranto (did not walk the forest)
Guest: Ken Stern, Five Rivers Conservation Trust
Call to Order at 4pm.
Agenda
Conservation Easement for the Spaulding Town Forest.
We located boundary monuments, mostly driven rebar stakes, along the 50-foot corridor from Hutchinson Road to the forest and along the southeasterly and northeasterly boundaries of lot 27-1. Also, we located one field stone monument and one granite monument on the southwesterly boundary (Pembroke town line), called out on the survey plat, both partially obscured by fallen trees.
We had a discussion with Ken about areas of concern with the draft Easement Deed which we plan on discussing with him at our regular meeting 11/9/17.
We also discussed possible parking area locations within the 50-foot corridor closest to Hutchinson Road. We had a brief discussion with Christian Beauregard, who resides on the southerly side of the corridor, about the easement, which will include reserved rights to build a parking area.
